Martin Luther as it was customary in those days tacked his set of ideas otherwise known as the 95 theses on the church doors. Luther was fascinated with teachings of the church and understanding the truth about the scriptures. In the theses he addressed the issues of papal power, penance, and the way you should live as a Christian.
The Ninty-Five Theses was written by Martin Luther in 1517 and is broadly regarded as the major catalyst for the Protestant Reformation. Martin Luther was an ambiguous German monk and radiant theologian. Martin Luther started a rebellion against the church’s authority which caused the collapse of religious unity of Christendom.
Martin Luther was a prominent figure in the Reformation, he came up with 95 theses statements and posted them on the door of a church in Wittenberg. As talked about in class, the statements were a challenge to the Roman Catholic principles and practices. Another figure, John Calvin, was a Separation of Church and State.
